Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Children greater than 1 month and less than 18 years with shock requiring inotropes admitted in the PICU of Department of Paediatrics, Kasturba Medical college and hospital, Manipal

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Children whose parents deny consent Children treated with inotropes prior to admission. Children who succumb within 48 hours of starting inotropes Post operative cases
