Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. Age range of the patient: 3-6 years. 2. No previous dental experience/treatment.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Children with special healthcare needs. 2. History of penetrating trauma or burning that might have affected the dermatoglyphic pattern. 3. Children with missing digits. 4. Children with conditions/abnormalities that did not allow accurate reading of fingerprints. 5.Children experiencing dental pain.

MeasureTime frame
To analyze and correlate the recorded thumbprints of the children with their observed behaviour during their visit to the dental operatory. The thumbprints will be recorded digitally of the children aged 3-6 years. The behaviour of the children will be recorded during oral examination stage of their visit using Frankl Behaviour Rating Scale.Timepoint: Baseline
