Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: •Male and female subjects of >18 years of age •Absence of systemic illness •Subjects indicated for scaling and root planing under local anesthesia

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: •Subjects with known history of allergy to the local anesthetic agents used for the study. •Subjects taking any medications which may influence the anesthetic assessment , such as analgesics, anti-inflammatory and sedative drugs. •Pregnant & Lactating females •Smokers •Alcoholics
