Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Age >65 years Duration Injury Low energy distal radius fracture Minimum follow up of 12 months AO classification- 23C1 and 23C2 fractures

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Open distal radius fractures Multiple trauma patients(Injury Severity Score >16) Concomitant injuries on affected limb Previous distal radius fractures or forearm fracture on same side Patient not willing to give consent

Primary

MeasureTime frame
All of these methods of treatment will have equal functional and radiological outcome such as radial inclination,radial height,volar tilt,ulnar varianceTimepoint: 4weeks ,6 weeks,3months, 6 months ,and 12 months

Secondary

MeasureTime frame
grip strength, vas score may vary according to the individual treatmentTimepoint: 4 weeks, 6 weeks ,12 weeks ,3 months , 6months, 12 months
