Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Blood sugar (Fasting and post prandial) Criteria for diagnosis of diabetes (any one or two or three): 1. HbA1c >= 6.5 2. BSF >= 126mg/dl 3. BSPP >= 200mg/dl

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1.Diabetes Mellitus-2 with serious complications like nephropathy,retinopathy etc. 2.Patients with certain genetic syndromes which are sometimes associated with diabetes mellitus. 3.Patients having endocrinopathies, Hormonal embalance, Carcinoma and other related complications. 4.Below 30 years and above 70 years patients.

Primary

MeasureTime frame
Symptoms like Polyuria, Polydipsia, Polyphagia, Fatigue, Tingling sensation in Palm and sole, Burning sensation in Palm and sole, Numbness will be reduced.Timepoint: Symptoms like Polyuria, Polydipsia, Polyphagia, Fatigue, Tingling sensation in Palm and sole, Burning sensation in Palm and sole, Numbness will be reduced.

Secondary

MeasureTime frame
Haematological parameters like FBS, PP, HbA1c, Urine examination routine and microscopic, Lipid profile, RFT, LFT etc.Timepoint: Haematological parameters will come within the normal limit after giving proper treatment. Patients is asked to follow up at the interval of 15 days for 3 months.
