Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Infertile women with unexplained infertility diagnosed based on: 1. Normal semen parameter of male partner (WHO 2010 criteria) 2. Patent tubes confirmed by HSG/ laparoscopy. 3. Ovulation documented by premenstrual endometrial sampling and HPE showing secretory endometrium.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Evidence of vaginitis/cervicitis/acute Pelvic Inflammatory Disease. 2. Endometrial tuberculosis. 3. Any intra-uterine pathology.

Design outcomes

Primary

MeasureTime frame
CONCEPTION RATE: number of females with positive urine pregnancy test (UPT) who undergo hydrotubation prior to IUI divided by the number of IUI cycles. Timepoint: CONCEPTION RATE:14 days from day of Intrauterine insemination.

Secondary

MeasureTime frame
VIABLE PREGNANCY RATE: number of females with pregnancy with ultrasound confirmed fetal cardiac activity who undergo hydrotubation prior to IUI divided by the number of IUI cycles.Timepoint: viable pregnancy rate:28 days from the day of IUI
