Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: ASA grade II. Body Mass Index between 18.5 and 24. Elective caesarean section under spinal anesthesia

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Patients with severe cardio-respiratory disease Patients with hepatic & renal disease Patients with neurologic disorder Patients with endocrine disorder Subarachnoid block failure Conversion to general anesthesia Patients with psychiatric problem Any contraindication for spinal anesthesia Drug allergy to study drugs

MeasureTime frame
Intravenous Palonosetron is as equipotent as intravenous dexamethasone with ondansetron as antiemetic when used before spinal anesthesia in caesarean section.Timepoint: Baseline i.e. before spinal anaesthesia. Every 15 minutes up to completion of surgery Every 1hour up to 4 hours postoperative period. Every 4 hour from 4 to 24 hours postoperative period.

MeasureTime frame
To compare the hemodynamic parameters like SBP, DBP, MAP, HR, SpO2 during study period. To compare the effects on patientâ??s comfortability and surgeonâ??s satisfaction after administration of the drug. To study side effects, if any attributable to study drugs like headache, dizziness, allergy. Timepoint: Baseline i.e. before spinal anaesthesia. Every 15 minutes up to completion of surgery Every 1hour up to 4 hours postoperative period. Every 4 hour from 4 to 24 hours postoperative period.
