Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: CTE: Persistent hair shedding beyond 6 months with no trigger discernible on clinical evaluation or investigations including CBC/LFT/KFT/ VIT D3/TFT/ANA/Blood sugar/ serum ferritin/ serum folate/ Vit B12 (as per attached case record form) with absence of features suggestive of androgenetic alopecia on trichoscopy

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Both cases and controls: • Systemic co-morbidites (Chronic illness/ hypothyroidism/ surgery / HTN/DM/Asthma /TB/PCOD/any other) • systemic/topical drugs • pregnancy and lactation
