Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. Patients fulfilling the diagnostic criteria given by ICSD III which is defined as difficulty in sleep initiation or maintenance problems, in spite of adequate opportunity and circumstances to sleep, and daytime consequences. For duration of more than 3 months and a frequency of at least 3 times per week. 2. Patients within the range of age group of 35-65 years. 3. Patients with signed written consent

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Patients having Drug induced insomnia. 2. Patients having insomnia due to lack of opportunity or circumstances to sleep. 3. Patients requiring mother tincture as the form of treatment .

MeasureTime frame
1. Improvement in the Insomnia Severity Index Score before and after the intervention. 2. Improvement in the sleep diary details.Timepoint: 1. Insomnia Severity Index day 1 and again after 3 months. 2. Sleep Diary assessment will be done after every 15 days, for total of 3 months.
