Inclusion criteria: 1. Elective major surgery lasting more than 3 h 2. radial cannula retained for > 24 h

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Recent cannulation of the artery 2. PVOD or abnormal arterial anatomy 3.Cannulations less than 24 h
