Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: All adult patients above the age of 18 years posted for elective surgery admitted in Kasturba Hospital and medical college

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: - Patients with acute blood loss/trauma / emergency surgeries / cardiac surgeries - Patients diagnosed to have other causes of anemia (thalassemia / sickle cells disease / G6PD deficiency / AIHA) - Patients diagnosed with Malignancy - Patients undergoing chemotherapy - Obstetrics cases - Patients who are diagnosed with chronic kidney disease
