Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: All patients undergoing lower limb surgery at Sree Balaji Medical College & Hospital, Chromepet, Chennai. 1. ASA grade - I, II , III 2. Age between 15 & 55yrs

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Patient refusal. 2. ASA grade â?? IV 3. Patients with complications like severe anaemia, hypovolemia, septicemia, shock, spinal column abnormalities, previous spine surgery. 4. Any contraindication to regional anaesthesia and with a known history of allergy to local anaesthetics / radioâ??opaque dye. 5. Bleeding disorders or on anticoagulant therapy, Congential or acquired coagulation disorders.

Determination of the correct placement of the epidural catheter.Timepoint: Until the confirmation of the placement of epidural catheter by Epidurography
