Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Patients with signs and symptoms of Madhumeha as per Samhitas and Insulin Dependent Diabetes Mellitus according to modern medicine Patients fulfilling the standard diagnostic criteria of WHO Patients having Fasting blood sugar level more than 126 mg/dl and Post prandial blood sugar level more than 200 mg/dl will be taken for study

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Age of patient below 18 and above 65 years Non Insulin Dependent Diabetes Mellitus Emergency cases in IDDM hyperglycemia FBS more than 300 and PP2BS more than 400mg/dl Patients having IDDM with complicated systemic diseases and other complication Patient with Gestational Diabetes Diabetic Nephropathy retinopathy and neuropathy carcinoma cardiovascular disease HIV malignant hypertension etc complicated cases will not be taken for study Excessive emaciation
