Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Pregnant women visiting JIPMER antenatal OPD/admitted to antenatal ward 1. >18 years age 2. Singleton foetus 3. Diagnosed as GDM with 75gm OGTT using IADPSG criteria 2010 Blood glucose value (mg/dl) Fasting >92 1 hour >180 2 hour >153 One or more values above cutoff will be considered as GDM. 4.Should have been screened for GDM 5.Pregnancy going beyond 20 weeks gestation

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1.Overt Diabetes Mellitus â?? Fasting >126mg/dl,2hour >200mg/dl on 75gm OGTT,HbA1C >6.5%, RBS- >200mg/dl with symptoms of hyperglycemia 2.Known case of Type1/2DM 3. Steroid use
