Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Children of 0-15yrs age, of either sex, posted for elective surgeries under general anaesthesia ASA physical status I & II

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Refusal by parents for the procedure Fever and respiratory tract infection Obstructive sleep apnea (OSA) Children with anticipated difficult airway Congenital anomalies involving ear- Surgery involving the airway and oropharynx Emergency surgeries.
