Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Diagnosed patients with history of chronic urticaria. Patients irrespective of gender will be included and who are willing to take medicine. Age group within 18-80 years. UAS more than or equal to 7 and less than or equal to 27.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Known case of other dermatitis. Known case of active allergic conditions other than chronic urticaria. History of angioedema. History of anaphylaxis to medicine. Known case of immunocompromised patients or subjects on immunosuppressive drugs. Patients suffering from severe systemic illness. Pregnant and lactating females.

Design outcomes

Primary

MeasureTime frame
Patients showing relief from clinical sign and symptoms. Increase in time interval between 2 episodes. Changes in UAS (Urticaria activity score over).Timepoint: Follow up every 7 days for one month Treatment free observation at every 15 days for a oeriod of one month if participant is accessible

Secondary

MeasureTime frame
Changes in absolute eosinophil count. Changes in Sr.IgE level.Timepoint: Will be assessed on 1st and 5th visit.
