Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1) Stage 2 Grade A Periodontitis patients to be included in the study 2) Patients having reduced sleep, i.e.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1) Periodontal therapy or antibiotic treatment within the last 3 months 2) Presence of any systemic diseases (Eg: Diabetes Mellitus) 3) Patientâ??s with a history of smoking 4) Xerostomia or any other disease of the salivary glands 5) Intake of any drugs known to alter melatonin levels or any immunosuppressive drugs 6) Pregnant or Lactating women 6) History of Radiotherapy or Chemotherapy 7) Any condition necessitating antibiotic prophylaxis before dental treatment 8) Patient not following up to the time schedule of the study will be excluded
