Interventions

Intervention1: Internal administration of the Gomutra Pippali.: One group of 20 patients will be given internal administration of Gomutra Pippali 3 gm per day (1 gm TDS) before meal with warm water

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: chronicity below 5 years with clinical features of hypothyroidism(Dhatvagnimandya)

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: patients with age below 18 and above 60 years patients having any other major complicated systemic diseases like cancer Tuberculosis Type I Diabetes mellitus Malignant Hypertension Thyrotoxicosis Asthma Heart disease Pregnancy or any other debilitating disease which may lead to fatal condition for the patient at any time Patients having history of Peptic ulcer Bleeding ulcer etc Patients with congenital or secondary hypothyroidism patient having goitre Drug induced Hypothyroidism
