Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Patient refusal Contraindication to neuraxial anesthesia Allergy to local anesthetics Allergy to morphine History of drug abuse Insufficient comprehension to use of patient controlled analgesia (PCA)

To compare total postoperative fentanyl consumption at 24 hours in between the two groups undergoing open live donor hepatectomyTimepoint: 24 hours

MeasureTime frame
To compare postoperative static VAS score (at rest, dynamic/movement and shoulder pain at 0, 2, 4, 12, 24, 36, 48 and 72 hours in between the two groups undergoing open live donor hepatectomy. Amount of rescue drug for analgesia. Time to mobilize. Postoperative side effects/complicationsTimepoint: 0, 2, 4, 12, 24, 36, 48 and 72 hours post operatively
