Intervention1: Dexmedetomidine: GROUP A: Patients will receive DEX prepared in ratio of 4:1 after anesthesia induction at a dose of 1 Î¼g/kg over 10 mins followed by 0.5 ug/kg/hr till the end of surge

Inclusion criteria: Scheduled to undergo elective lung surgery

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Preoperative atrial fibrillation Previous lung surgery Chronic asthma Previous cardiac surgery h/o cardiac disease h/o thyroid disease
