Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1)Those who have given assent and parent consent for the study. 2)Those who have not undergone Upanayana hence, not practicing SandhyÄ?vandanam and scheduled for the Upanayana after 3 months

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1)Subjects with severe physical and psychological morbidity 2)Those who are not volunteering for the study 3) Subjects who have already undergone Upanayana and are practicing SandhyÄ?vandanam

â?¢It is expected to increase the mindfulness and emotional intelligence of participants, especially in the age of adolescence â?¢It is expected to decrease the stress level in adolescent participants â?¢It is expected to prove the influence of SandhyÄ?vandanam on physical and mental health of the participants, when performed in a proper manner â?¢The study is expected to provide scientific validity to the age old traditional practice of SandhyÄ?vandanam. Timepoint: A. Mental Health Scales : 1. 1st assessment at baseline level 3 months before induction of the SandhyÄ?vandanam 2. 2nd Assessment after 3 months during induction of SandhyÄ?vandanam 3. 3rd Assessment after 3 months of intervention 4. 4th Assessment after 6 months of practice B. Salivary Markers : 1st Assessment during induction of SandhyÄ?vandanam 2nd Assessment after 3 months of intervention
