Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: 1. Class I edentulous arches (ACP classification) 2. Residual bone height of 21 mm or greater measured at the least vertical height of the mandible on a panoramic radiograph. 3. Residual ridge morphology resists horizontal and vertical movement of the denture base; Type A maxilla. 4. Location of muscle attachments that are conductive to denture base stability and retention; Type A or B mandible. 5. Class I maxillomandibular relationship. 6. Class I palatal throat form proposed by M.M.House 7. Class I shape of posterior palatal seal area by Winland and Young 8. Wrights Class I of tongue position 9. The frenal attachment which is located away from the crest of the ridge is selected
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: 1. Class II, III, IV (ACP classification) 2. Residual alveolar ridge less than 20mm 3. Single edentulous arch 4. Residual ridge offering no resistance to vertical and horizontal movements 5. Class II and III maxillomandibular relationship 6. Class II, III palatal throat form proposed by M.M.House 7. Class II, III shape of posterior palatal seal area by Winland and Young 8. Wrights class II, III tongue position 9. Frenal attachment at the crest of the ridge 10. General disease 11. Allergic to materials in study 12. Previous denture wearers 13. Uncooperative patients 14. Mentally unhealthy subjects 15. Acute infections 16. Autoimmune diseases 17. Undergoing radiation therapy or patients consuming xerostomia inducing drugs
