Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: 60 Patients of ASA physical status I/II, in the age group of 18-60 years of either sex, scheduled for elective open inguinal hernia repair
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: Consent not given ASA Grade 3 and above Hypersensitivity to study drugs Bleeding disorders Co-morbid conditions Contraindications to regional anaesthesia BMI >=30 kg/m2, Irreducible / Strangulated /recurrent Inguinal hernia Preoperative chronic use of other analgesia (opioids or nonsteroidal antiâ??inflammatory drugs)
