Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Adult women undergoing Modified Radical Mastectomy for operable Ca Breast.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Previous irradiation to chest. Previous breast and axillary surgeries Patients on anticoagulation therapy.

Design outcomes

Primary

MeasureTime frame
Drain volume until drain removal. 2. Incidence of seroma requiring aspiration and their volume. Timepoint: on 5th day post op , 1 week after discharge and 3 weeks after discharge

Secondary

MeasureTime frame
Surgical site infection. Duration of Hospital stay. Timepoint: will be evaluated for seroma on 5th day post op , 1 week after discharge and 3 weeks after discharge
