Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Term neonates (0-1 month of age) of either sex, undergoing surgery under general anaesthesia requiring orotracheal intubation.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Neonates with anticipated difficult airway. 2. Congenital syndromes involving head, neck and cardiovascular system. 3. Raised intracranial pressure. 4. Haemodynamic instability. 5. Coagulopathy.
