Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1) Patients of age group 17-60 years. 2) Patients scheduled for endodontic treatment and willing to participate in the study. 3) Incisors, canines and premolars with class 1 endodontic access cavity.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1) Patients with diabetes, chronic infective disease or any other immuno-compromised disease. 2) Teeth with mesio-occlusal, disto-occlusal or mesio-occluso-distal access cavities. 3) Teeth exhibiting fracture, insufficient crown height and questionable marginal integrity. 4) Teeth with developmental disturbances and X-rays showing multiple or deformed roots.

To compare the coronal microleakage in Cavit, Glass Ionomer Cement-FX-II-Improved and Orafil Light Cure restorations.Timepoint: Patients will be evaluated after a gap of 1 week after completion of root canal treatment

To compare microleakage through Cavit, Glass Ionomer Cement-FX-II-Improved and Orafil Light Cure restorations by comparing the count of the number of colonies on Colony Forming Units (CFUs).Timepoint: Patients will be evaluated after a gap of 1 week after completion of root canal treatment
