Intervention1: Recruitment manoeuvre: Recruitment manoeuvre will be applied with 30 cmH2O airway pressure for 30-40 seconds. It will be applied two times, once after the pneumoperitoneum and once more

Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: American Society of Anaesthesiologist (ASA) physical status I and II; Patients scheduled for elective laparoscopic cholecystectomy surgery under general anaesthesia

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Patients with anticipated difficult airway (Airway Difficulty Score >8); Patients with upper respiratory tract infection; Patients with increased risk of regurgitation and aspiration of gastric content; Patients with a body mass index (BMI) > 35 kg/m2; Patients with a history of radiotherapy to the neck involving the hypopharynx; Pregnant patients
