Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Age 18-80 years American Society of Anesthesiologist 1,2,3 Emergency surgery under general anesthesia

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Mouth opening less than 3 finger breath in lying down position Neck contracture or irradiation Pathology of the upper respiratory tract Difficult airway requiring awake fibreoptic intubation Patients received intubated in emergency operation theatre Patients with BMI >30kg/m2 Patients who will not be extubated post operatively Patients refusing to give consent Patients who are hemodynamically unstable

To estimate the time required for successful orotracheal intubation with channelled and non-channelled blade of King Vision VideolaryngoscopeTimepoint: Time for tracheal intubation will be defined as the time taken from introduction of blade (channelled or non-channelled) between the incisors until the endotracheal tube passes the vocal cord , the cuff is inflated upto the appearance of square wave capnography trace on the monitor

To compare the channelled and non-channelled blade of King Vision Videolaryngoscope for ease and success of intubationTimepoint: The ease of intubation will be graded by fremantle score. Time to obtain optimal laryngeal view will be defined as time from insertion of videolaryngoscopic blade to the optimal laryngeal view will be recorded.
