Eligibility
Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: 1. Patient has a diagnosis of asthma and a current prescription for an asthma drug. 2. Careful history will be taken of isolated wheeze, wheeze with dyspnoea, exercise dyspnoea, wheezing in absence of cold, nocturnal chest tightness, nocturnal cough, nocturnal dyspnoea, chronic phlegm production and chronic cough.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: 1. Patients suffering from dyspnoea resulting from other diseases such as left ventricular failure, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (chronic bronchitis, emphysema), upper respiratory tract obstruction, pneumonia, tuberculosis, lung cancer, lung abscess, and other such complicated conditions, immuno deficiency disease (AIDS) and pregnant lady.

| Efficacy of the Vasavaleha will be determined by specific grading pattern including asthma control questionnaire (ACQ) and asthma control test (ACT) in terms of relief observed in cardinal signs and symptoms before and after treatment. Changes in FEV1, PEFR, BHT, and AEC will also be considered in evaluating efficacy of the test drug.Timepoint: 1.5 years for patients enrollment. | — |
