Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: patients with radicular lumbosacral pain of atlas 3 months not responding to physical and medical therapies

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: local infection at block site coagulopathy morbid obesity BMI >40 allergy to local aesthetics preexisting neurological deficits with significant cognitive dysfunction and diagnosed psychiatric disorder mental retardation failed back surgery.

1. Incidence of anxiety 2. Mean preprocedural anxiety scores 3. Number of attempts for procedure 4. Performerâ??s satisfaction score 5. Average buttock/hip/leg pain intensity using VAS at baseline and 2 weeks, 3 weeks 6weeks , 10 weeks and 14 weeks after the injection. 6. Disability using Roland-Morris Disability Questionnaire at baseline Timepoint: 2 weeks, 4 weeks, 6weeks , 10 weeks and 14 weeks after the injection
