Intervention1: Compograph aided PPS technique: The tray with the spacer
extending on the PPS region shall be border moulded. Spacer wax shall
be removed and a final impression shall be made. Further c

adapted by using a vacuum forming machine (Easy-Vac

the master cast. The anterior and posterior vibrating line on the soft
palate is located using Winklerâ??s technique and delineated by using an
indelible pencil (Staedtler
Nozomi). The thermoplastic sheet template
is now placed intraorally to transfer the markings of the anterior and
posterior vibrating lines. These will then be outlined using a black
permanent marker (
Camlin). Holes will then be
drilled in the sheet such that the head of compograph is inserted through
them easily. Care shall be taken to place these guide holes as close as
possible without tearing t

Eligibility
Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: Completely edentulous participants requiring removable complete dentures Patients with Type A Maxillary residual ridge morphology and Class I Complete edentulism based on the American College of Prosthodontists (ACP) classification Absence of any systemic disease that produce oral manifestations
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: Patients with implants or overdenture abutments in upper arch. Patients with maxillary edentulous ridges with no anterior and/or posterior undercuts Patients with excessive gag reflex. Patients with reduced salivary flow or having xerostomia Patients with known allergy to denture base material Presence of physical or psychological ailment that precludes recall visits like physically handicap Patients who have V shaped palatal vault Patients having any surgical or congenital maxillary defects Patients who are not willing to sign the consent form
