Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Patients >= 18 years of age with severe COVID-19 pneumonia documented by positive Reverse transcription polymerase chain reaction (RT-PCR) nasopharyngeal swab or with a CT-chest showing evidence of ground glass opacity with reduced ejection fraction less than 50% were considered eligible for the study.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: patients with covid pneumonia and normal left ventricular function patients with pneumonia other than covid
