Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: All type II Diabetic patients based on ADA criteria.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: 1) Type 1 diabetes mellitus 2) Conditions that altered serum ferritin levels like: Hemochromatosis, Chronic alcoholics, chronic inflammatory conditions like SLE/ rheumatoid arthritis, Hepatitis, History of repeated blood transfusions, Iron deficiency anemia, Hypothyroidism, Chronic kidney disease.
