Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: All patients aged more than 18 years with pre operative GCS 15 undergoing elective or emergency neurosurgical procedures under general anaesthesiA

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Pre-op GCS Severe neuromuscular weakness With cardiac problems (known CAD, CCF cardio myopathies Left ventricle EF < 50%)

1.To identify the ScvO2 level at which recovery of basic cerebral function occur after General anaesthesia in patients undergoing intra-cranial neurosurgeryTimepoint: Total 4 samples, first one is taking during intra operative period, second one at MAC zero and third sample is when patient responding to commands and fourth sample is at half an hour after extubation

1. To identify the correlation between Scvo2 level and time to recovery of basic higher cerebral functions. 2. Correlation between the drop in Scvo2 and increase in train of four ratio(T4/T1) at the two measurement points Timepoint: Total 4 samples, first one is taking during intra operative period, second one at MAC zero and third sample is when patient responding to commands and fourth sample is at half an hour after extubation
