Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Patients willing for present treatment. Diagnosed case of DM (Type 2) by routine investigations. Patients having history of Diabetes mellitus more than 5 years. Diabetic Retinopathy changes in the fundus. Patients of DR who have undergone modern medical management and Laser Photocoagulation therapy previously for the same but with persisting symptoms and/or signs are also included in the study. Patients between age of 40 to 70 years. Taking oral hypoglycemic drugs as or insulin

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: History of glaucoma Below age of 40 and age above 70. Patients with moderate to severe Cataractous changes. Patients having proliferative and advanced Diabetic Retinopathy changes. ï?? Patients with any other complications of Diabetes like nephropathy and neuropathy. ï?? Patient having systemic diseases like hypertension, thyroid etc.

Reduction in the retinal oedema and retinal haemorrhages associated with non proliferative diabetic retinopathy.Timepoint: 60 DAYS

Reduction in number and size of hard and soft exudates.Timepoint: 60 days
