Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: 1. ASA Grade I, II 2. Laparoscopic cholecystectomy
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: Inability to obtain informed consent. 1. Patients on chronic use of opioid or beta blockers. 2. Known case of severe mental impairment. 3. Known allergy to study medication. 4. Inability to comprehend pain assessment preoperatively. 5. History of alcohol, drug abuse. 6. Received opioid medication within 24 hours before operation. 7. Pregnant or breast-feeding females. 8. Patients with cardiac, hepatic and renal insufficiency. 9. Patients with difficult airway.
