Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Patients undergoing laparoscopic cholecystectomy under general anaesthesia. 1.Age 18 -65 years 2.ASA I and II

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Patients refusal to consent. 2. BMI 130% of ideal body weight 3. Known psychiatric illness. 4. Patients with known hypersensitivity to lignocaine or dexmedetomidine. 5. Known case of alcohol dependence. 6. Known case of substance abuse disorder. 7. Known case of renal disorders.
