Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1)Patient with multinodular goiter undergoing thyroidectomy and hemithyroidectomy in Kasturba Hospital, Manipal. 2)Patients above 18years of age

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Patients who are already diagnosed as FNAC proven thyroid Carcinoma.

Primary

MeasureTime frame
The outcome will be measured based on comparison between preoperative FNAC, USG and TSH findings with postoperative histopathological examination. The data will be analysed and sensitivity and specificity of predictors of multinodular goiter will be calculated.Timepoint: 10 DAYS
