Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. Sacroiliac Joint (SIJ) Dysfunction with duration of pain > 6 months 2. No improvement even after 6 months of conservative management 3. VAS pain intensity score of > 4 mm in 10mm scale.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. With history of systemic inflammatory diseases (e.g. â??psoriatic arthritis, ankylosing spondylitis or any disease like Reiter syndromeâ??) 2. Patients taking any type of anticoagulant medications 3. History of uncontrolled diabetes mellitus 4. History of allergic reactions in response to lidocaine or any type of contrast media. 5. Any hip joint pathology 6. Having poor general health condition. 7. Not willing to visit the hospital for follow-up. 8. Did not follow post-treatment advice. 9. Having poor cognitive status. 10. History of prior injections within the last three months. 11. History of other diseases like cancer, fibromyalgia, inflammatory arthritis, infection.
