Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Individuals diagnosed with schizophrenia as per ICD-10 DCR and are currently in active psychopathology or remission phase, has duration of illness for not more than five years, is amenable for assessment and can comprehend task instructions properly, has at least six years of fromal education and can read and understand Assamese comfortably. Participants will be matched on age, gender and education

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: individuals receiving ECT in the last six months, having IQ less than 70, having a history of developmental delay and substance dependence, having family history of psychiatric or neurological disorders and comorbid psychiatric or neurological illness.
