Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Patients undergoing all types of elective liver resection for secondaries liver, hilar cholangiocarcinoma, hepatocellular carcinoma, hepatolithiasis, hydatid disease, focal nodular hyperplasia, hemangioma, hepatoblastoma, hepatocellular adenoma etc. Patients of both sex 3. Patients 18-80 years of age 4. Patients eligible to give valid consent

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Immunocompromised patients Patients having renal failure ( high creatinine values) Patients who are allergic to gentamicin and clindamycin Patients undergoing segmental or wedge resection for carcinoma gall bladder. Patients with Percutaneous transhepatic biliary drainage catheter in situ with positive culture report.
