Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Inclusion criteria: Adult patients having head and neck cancer on chemotherapy/ radiotherapy/ symptoms palliation.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Exclusion criteria: 1. Less than 18 years age. 2. Immediate postoperative patients. 3. patients apart from head and neck cancers. 4. Patient with pre-existing (before diagnosis of cancer) history of sleep disturbance or hereditary sleep disturbance. 5. Patient with advance cardio-pulmonary compromise (NYHA class 4). 6. Patients with history of psychiatric illness mainly Schizophrenia or other psychosis or neurosis. 7. Patient unable to communicate or understand the assessment tools.

Sleep deprivation is common among cancer patients.The study would identify the incidence of sleep deprivation or impaired quality of sleep among patients undergoing palliative chemotherapy and radiotherapy. The study would bring out the relation between various factors initiating, precipitating or perpetuating sleep disturbance in head and neck cancer patient.Such data is available for breast cancer patients, but not for head and neck cancer patients. Timepoint: BASELINE DATA WILL BE ASSESED IN 8 WEEKKS AFTER THE DATA COLLECTION.—

Sleep deprivation is common among cancer patients.The study would identify the incidence of sleep deprivation or impaired quality of sleep among patients undergoing palliative chemotherapy and radiotherapy. The study would bring out the relation between various factors initiating, precipitating or perpetuating sleep disturbance in head and neck cancer patient.Such data is available for breast cancer patients, but not for head and neck cancer patients. Timepoint: ADMITTED PAITENT WILL BE GIVEN SLEEP TRACKING DEVICE IN A NIGHT BEFORE SLEEPING AND QUESTIONARIRE WILL BE GIVEN EVERY MORNING.BASELINE DATA WILL BE ASSESED AFTER 8 WEEKS .—
