Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: ASA grade 1 and 2 children posted for elective infra umbilical surgery Age group 4 to 10 years Informed consent Children with normal developmental milestones Children who received an oral premedication Children awake and not crying in the preoperative reception area.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Children with intravenous cannula insitu Children with anticipated difficult airway Children with previous anaesthesia experience
