Interventions

Intervention1: Surgical Transversus Abdominis plane block after caesarean delivery: Under aseptic precautions, following extraction of baby and uterine closure and achieving hemostasis, anterior abdom
any signs of toxicity will be noted. The surgeon will repeat the block on other side. Both the groups will receive 75 mg inj.diclofenac sodium intramuscularly/ intravenously every 8th hour. Injection

Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. Women undergoing caesarean section at Gestational age > 34 weeks with American society of Anesthesiologists (ASA) score of I-II 2. BMI -18.5 to 29.5 kg/m2

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Pregnant women with known allergy to drug bupivacaine 2. Thrombocytopenia, HELLP Syndrome, Eclampsia, Connective tissue disorders, Anti phospholipid antibody syndrome 3. Women requiring General Anesthesia 4. Local infection at site of injection. 5. Severe maternal or fetal compromise. 6. Prolonged duration of surgery (due to PPH, bladder injury).
