Eligibility
Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: All patients presenting to PICU in the age group of 1 month to 16 years with septic shock refractory to fluid boluses and needing vasopressors would be enrolled. Children will be enrolled as soon as they are started on vasopressors.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: Patients with traumatic brain injury will be excluded. Patients referred from other centre who has received vasopressors for more than 24 hours will also excluded. Children presenting with haemorrhagic shock will also be omitted from the study.
