Interventions

Intervention1: Ultrasound guided paramedian approach of spinal anaesthesia in elderly: Skin markings will be marked by ultrasonography imaging with curvilinear low frequency probe
neuraxial midline , needle insertion point and angle of insertion will be noted. Subarachnoid block will be performed according to markings . Control Intervention1: Paramedian approach of spinal anaes

Design outcomes

Primary

MeasureTime frame
To compare the number of needle passes taken for successful spinal anaesthesia between preprocedure ultrasound aided and conventional landmark guided paramedian approach in elderlyTimepoint: 0min,1min

Secondary

MeasureTime frame
To compare in prerocedure ultrasound aided and conventional surface landmark guided groups 1. Total number of needle insertion attempts 2.time taken to identify the landmarks 3.time taken to accomplish spinal anaesthesia 4.occurence of radicular pain, parenthesis, blood in spinal needle hub 5.periprocedural pain score from 0-10 scale.
