Inclusion criteria: Patients willing to participate Patients scheduled for surgery in whom etomidate is indicated

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Patients with known contraindication to study drugs Patients on concomitant sedative or analgesic medication Patients with presence of infection on dorsum of left hand Any protocol violation
