Eligibility
Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: Age >15 years Confirmed Ulcerative Colitis patients who are in clinical remission achieved either with FMT or with pharmacotherapy. Patients must be on stable medication regimen for at least 6 months prior to enrollment. Able to give informed consent and/or assent as appropriate
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: Active disease, endoscopic Mayo score > 1, use of rectal therapies, evidence of active infection (stool positivefor Clostridium difficile, Salmonella, Shigella, Yersinia, Campylobacteror E. coli), use of probiotics or antibiotics within four weeks of enrollment, significant cardiopulmonary co-morbidities, changes in dosage or addition of new pharmacotherapy in last 6 months, severe immunodeficiency, pregnancy, lactation and unwillingness to undergo repeated colonoscopies.
