Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: All children 1 month to 12 years of age started on HFNC therapy.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Children having underlying Cyanotic heart diseases

MeasureTime frame
Impact of initial SpO2/FiO2 ratio on failure of HFNC therapy in children.Timepoint: O hours (initial, at time of admission in PICU)

Secondary

MeasureTime frame
1. Impact of degree of improvement seen at 2 hours and 6 hours in SpO2/FiO2 ratio and Respiratory Clinical Score (RCS) on failure of HFNC therapy in children. 2. Effect of other factors like age, underlying disease etiology and disease severity (by PRISM III score) on failure of HFNC therapy. Timepoint: 2 hours and 6 hours
