Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1.Patient with Stage III Periodontitis.14 2.Atleast two teeth having at least one approximal site with a probing depth (PD) of > 5 mm. 3.Gingival index (GI) of > 2 in each quadrant.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1.Periodontal or antimicrobial treatment within 6 months. 2.Patients with the habit of smoking and alcoholism. 3.No pregnancy and lactating women. 4.Allergic to doxycycline.
